WEC Photo Contest

Calling all photographers. At the Wasco Electric Cooperative (WEC) Member Appreciation Picnic. WEC members will vote for the top 13 photos to be selected for the co-op’s 2023 Ruralite calendar.
The winners will each receive $50 for submitting a winning photo. Photos must be submitted by May 31, 2022.
The contest is open to WEC members. Each person may submit two photos. Each photo submission must include:
- Photographer’s name and address
- A short description of what is shown
- Photographer’s email address and phone number
Digital JPEG photos only. Photos must be horizontal or landscape format and at least 300 dpi at 11 inches wide by 9 inches tall.

Winning Tips
- Use the highest resolution setting on your digital camera
- Photograph beautiful places and wildlife
- Capture scenes full of vivid color
- Reflect the seasons
- Focus on the beauty of our area
- Make us feel something (awe, laughter)
