Al was born and raised on a small family farm in Estacada, Oregon. After high school graduation, he became an electrical apprentice and became a Master Electrician. Al has been part of the Maupin community and served as vice president of Juniper Flat District Improvement Company. Al was elected to the Wasco Electric Board of Directors in 2023.
