Heating & Cooling (HVAC) Rebates
In an effort to encourage the most efficient and comfortable means of heating and cooling your home Wasco Electric Cooperative offers heating and cooling rebates. Below is a breakdown of each system and the qualifying rebate.
Heat Pump Requirements:
- Installed by a PTCS qualified contractors.
- Equipment must have an efficiency rating of 9.0 HSPF or better and a 14 SEER or better
Stick Built or Manufactured Homes
- Heat Pump Upgrade, $500
- Conversion from Electric Forced Air Furnace, $1,400
- Ground Source Heat Pump, $3,000
Ductless Heat Pump Requirements:
- Installed by a PTCS qualified contractor.
- Efficiency rating of 9.0 HSPF for a single head system unit
- Efficiency rating of 8.0 HSPF for a multi-head system unit
Stick Built or Manufactured Homes
- Conversion from zonal electric heat, $800
- Conversion from Electric Forced Air Furnace, $800
Take advantage of the HVAC rebate:
- Fill out our Heat Pump Rebate Form
- Submit a copy of the receipt/invoice.
- PTCS paperwork completed. Request the contractor to submit the completed PTCS paperwork online through the online registry.
- AHRI Certificate. Contractor will provide with completion paperwork.
Heat Pump Water Heaters Requirements:
- Equipment on the heat pump water heater qualified list
- Installed according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Fill out our Heat Pump Water Heater Rebate Form
- Submit a copy of the receipt/invoice.
Stick Built of Manufactured Homes
- Upgrade, $300
- Rebates subject to change without notice.
