Manager of Operations

Wasco Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Manager of Operations.
Candidates must have a minimum of eight years of electric utility experience with five years of progressive management/leadership within the utility. Preferably, the experience will be in a related operational or engineering area with firsthand experience in designing and constructing electric utility systems, preferably using RUS specifications.
Candidate must have effective written and verbal communication skills, be able to work in a team setting, have good customer service skills, demonstrate people management and leadership skills, proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office programs.
The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 DOE. The Cooperative offers a competitive NRECA defined benefits plan and insurance. Wasco Electric Cooperative is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
