Rights of Way Easements

Prior to the construction of any overhead or underground line extensions, the member-applicant shall provide Wasco Electric, at no cost, a right-of-way easement from all landowners on whose property our lines will be constructed. This right-of-way easement provides the co-op the right to erect, maintain, repair, replace, remove or the use of all wires, poles, anchors, machinery, fixtures, or equipment needed to supply, deliver, or maintain electric service to the member.

The easement also allows the co-op the right to trim or remove any trees that have grown or may grow within 15 feet of the power lines. The initial right-of-way tree removal and access road construction for new line extension is the responsibility of the member-applicant and is subject to approval by the co-op.
